Iran Is Tiny And Therefore Not A Real Threat

Senator Barrack Obama stated on May 18th that Iran was tiny and therefore doesn’t post a real threat.  However, he later stated that Iran was a threat.  Was this a flip flop or simply a re-calibration of his view point?  To put the entire statement in context he did mention that Iran was “tiny” in comparison to Russia in both size and threat level.  But, it is extremely dangerous to not recognize the potential dangers of any rogue nation obtaining nuclear weapons regardless of its size.  I also believe it’s not in the best interest of the United States to meet with leaders of nations such as Iran without preconditions.

The McCain campaign has released a campaign ad focusing on Obama’s statement on Iran.

Its unfortunate that while iWill Blog is smart and honest enough to put the Obama quote in it’s proper context, the McCain campaign is not.
