macrumors.com is reporting that Apple has seeded a beta version of iPhone 2.1 Firmware (Beta 1, Build 5F90) to developers. This version includes new Core Location features that might suggest that turn-by-turn GPS could soon be a reality. Tomtom and Telenav have reportedly been working on such an application for the iPhone.
Update: Apparently this update is only available to people who signed up for the iPhone developer program prior to 7/11.

Today after closing out the yellow pages iPhone app and then attempting to open Twinkly my iPhone locked with funky lines going across the screen. It took a while but it adventually reset itself. This appeared to be more of a software issue than a hardware issue. I will keep monitoring it though. I almost cried like a little girl when this happened.

Well, I thought I would give this blogging thing a try. I now have a new shiny iPhone 3G which I have installed the wordpress app to. So, I am now capable of blogging directly from my iPhone which is pretty cool. I am currently typing this from my computer though. I will be using this blog to write different things about my iPhone as well as other topics such as politics, programming and many others.
